Mike is a writer/performer who made his directorial debut with the short film “Sump” starring Gemma Whelan, Daniel Rigby and Jeany Spark. Sump played to festivals across the world including Palm Springs ShortFest, Calgary International Film Festival, PÖFF Shorts (Estonia) and Manchester International Film Festival. Mike was member of the principal cast of Man Down (Channel 4) for which he also co-wrote in series 3 and 4. In 2015 he wrote “Ruby Robinson” - a physical comedy short film for Sky Arts starring Kim Cattrall and a troupe of acrobats from across Europe.
Alongside Henry Paker and Benjamin Partridge he is a co-creator and co-writer of “Small Scenes” - a sketch show which has had four series so far on BBC Radio 4. He is a regular contributor to the “Beef and Dairy Network Podcast” and has recently launched the “St Elwick’s Neighbourhood Association Newsletter Podcast” with Dotdotdot Productions.
In 2021, Mike charmed the nation with his appearance on the 11th series of Taskmaster on Channel 4. He then went on to guest on Sky's revamp of Never Mind The Buzzcocks, and was the weekly winner on Richard Osman's House of Games.
Mike performed a work in progress with us in 2022 of his tour show ‘Zusa’. Selling out super quick and to a great reception. Mike is a brilliant story teller and has you eating out of the palm of his hands whilst taking you on a comedic journey.
